I have applied for the passport for my wife "Anjna Dwivedi" application dated 12/03 having File Refence No.- Z095178.
It is very surprising that 4 months has passed away and still the passport has not reached to us despite the police verification is cleared 4 months ago.
Whenever we check the status of the same below mentioned page displays: Police Report is clear. Application is under process.
It is very surprising to see that it takes two months to get a passport. I was keen to apply for the passport as I got married on 17th April and we have decided to go abroad but could not do so because of the delay in the processes of your department. While applying for the passport we went to Bhikaji Cama
Office and we have been approaced by several brokers who insisted to give Rs 10000/- and the passport will be delivered in 10 days.
I just wanted to understand that without paying bribe to passport officials cant a person apply for a passport?
I would like to understand how much time it takes to get a passport issued one the polce report is clear.
Please look into this case and revert.
