Passport Delay

My Passport File No. LKOA10917208. I had applied for the passport as on 16 June. I had done enquiry about it in December at Passport Office, they told me that my file has been send again to Police Station for some pendency, then i had done enquiry from Police Station they told me that they had forwarded my file to Passport Office in December. But till today I had not received my Passport, Can i know the Reason of Delay in my Passport.
