I had applied for passport ion 24/03 at Bhopal. All the formalities have been completed and after police verification the status was that the passport will be delivered shortly.
After few days the status was to submit the personal particular form (3 copies) with my home address for verification.
I submitted it in September but the status was same. As i inquired in passport office after two months they said to submit the personal particular form again. In December i submitted again and this time the verification was done at my hometown RANCHI. And the status was that " WE REGRET THAT DUE TO SOME UNAVOIDABLE CIRCUMSTANCES YOUR PASSPORT WAT DELAYED AND WILL BE DESPATCHED SHORTLY.
But till now the passport has not been dispatched and now the present status is " File Reference Number (BPL-A007253-09) is either wrong or Information NOT available".
At least update the website and show the status within 7 days
