I had submitted my passport and my wife's passport for Reissue on the 15th July'08.The file numbers provided by passport office Delhi for the passports are as under-

Till date i have not received the new passports for both of us. I checked on passport office website and the status it shows is "Application is pending for want of Police Report". However since no police verification had happened at our residence, i went to the concerned police station [Sector 31, Faridabad] to check the status. The Station incharge showed be all the records and till date they haven't received any information for police verification on our cases.
I have also send many mails to the email id mentioned on the passport office website but haven't received any reply from them.
I would therefore request you to contact passport office and urge them to send our records for police verification again so that the same can be carried out ASAP.
