Status of passport

Sir,

i have submitted my passport application form on 11.02.2009. my FILE REFF.NO.. is PAT-A017359-09. police verification has been done in the month of july. the dispatch no. &date of my file is D/R889 (F) 09 &17.07.2009.but stil it is displaying on the site that ur police verification has not been received.

i want to know, what is the reason& what is the actual status of my application.

i have allready sent so many mails to patna passport office but not got any responce from that side.pls... pls do something
