Respected Sir,
I have appiled for renewal of my passport at Hyderabad in Nov, File no. F029956. When i did not receive the passport nor any police enquiry was conducted till 90 days, i started enquiring online & was told that "pending police enquiry". I have visited the passport office various times & written e-mails to "[email protected]" (all mail copies available as evidence) Finally after so many follow ups, my police enquiry was done in Jan & a "Clear Report" was send by Inspector of Police, hyderabad on 2/2/09 (S.B.no. RWF/98/07- Copy available as evidence)
Still when the passport has not come, I started enquiring again at the passport office. Finally i cam to know through an agent that my file is "Closed" and i need to apply all over again!!!
This is highly riidiculous & Unfair that a completely clear case like mine, where there was no document pending should be closed. And I need to pay Fees all over again!!! now there will be additional charges because my passport has expired!!!
Please advice if there is any authority I can apporach to resolve this issue- it is very sad iif a middle class person has to keep paying 3000-4000/- rs. each time for no fault of ours.
I will highly appreciate if experts like you can help me find a way out of this red tape.
