Hopeless service from Philips

I got a Philips Ironbox from viveks, chennai. The Power cord got melted in the next 2-3 months. I thought that ok, it is in warranty and gave it to the dealer. Philips service centre took three weeks to replace that small issue. But still waiting to get it hopefully.

I am afraid if i would have bought a T.V. or Music system from Philips, it may take an year to set it right.
