I had ordered a meal from the Pizza Hut Delivery at SCO, Sector 56, Gurgaon in the beginning of Dec 08. However, after sometime, to my disappointment, i felt some hard object in my mouth, which came out to be a sharp-edged metal piece about 1.5cms x 1cms which had chipped-off my teeth and some part of the cheek. I called upon the manager in charge who saw the object, merely apologized and returned back the money for the order placed with a verbal confirmation that Pizza hut will issue an apology letter with appropriate compensation. Since then, i was following up with the manager and his higher ups (in Yum group), till they denied me of anything in writing and told me to raise the concern to whichever authority i did like to. Although i have now stopped calling for or visiting any Pizza Hut, i really wonder if this is the customer retention policy which the Pizza Hut boasts of.
