MIS Maturity Value not credited in bank account, insisting the person to visit personally

Hello Sir,

My partents who stay in kalyan have the MIS account and they are here in Bangalore due to their health reason. (as monthe has fractured her leg). The application for closing account and the authority letter was sent to post through the relative who visited the post office. But they are claiming that they will only give maturity value to the person when he visit personally. Which is not possible for another two months.

They also refuesed to give interest on the matured amount.

I requested them to accept the application or let me know the process if I can send this documents through Local post office in Bangalore. for which i did not get any satisfactory answer.

I am taking this issue as Major cause of helping such senior citizens. and to let you know that the same process was done by me for my firend in HAL post office where on the Authority letter i have personally collected the Maturity Cheques for my Friend.

So it is very clear that either Kalayn Post office is not aware of this process or are relectunt to settle this case.
