I got my airtel USB Data Card with new Airtel connection on 19th/Feb/08 which got acivated only 0n 28/Feb pm due to some faulty SIM cards.
On 2nd /Mar/08, my data card stopped working. I was informed by customer care that there is some problem in delhi area and connection will resume by evening failing which I went to Kamla Nagar Showroom and they asked me to take the USB Modem to Service centre.
At service centre (ADONIS Electronics Pvt Ltd), I was informed that there is problem with USB Modem and it need to be repaired which will take 5-6 working days.
In all this this process, it is the cusomer who has suffered. I required GPRS services on urgent basis, and this is what I got.
I have opted for 999 plan for GPRS services to avail unlimited download, but have used internet services for not more than 3 days from the day I got the connection.
I contaced 121 service and they told me that for GPRS, I will be charged on prorata basis from the day i Got connection, to which i strongly object. Its not my fault if SIM was faulty andgot activated only on 28th. Also the new USB Modem is not working.
Since then, I am sending mails to Airtel Customer care and their Grievance cell, but all in vain without any reply
