Poor Customer Care service

Hi All

I am a resident of Delhi but working in Bangalore, I am using Airtel broadband in bangalore. I had planned short-term visit to Delhi for 1 week, so I needed a broadband connection to do my office work from Delhi. I requested Airtel customer care executives in advance 5 days before my travel and requested for a new connection, so that I can start working on the very first day after reaching Delhi. To my surprise, despite of placing three request to Airtel for new connection I did not get any reponse. Its only when I followed-up with my request-id they called me back and promised to provide the connection in 48 hrs. But leave 48 hrs I spent full week without internect connectivity, in the mean time they kept on saying that they will providing the connection very soon. Finally when I was leaving to Bangalore..i again asked the reason for such a poor response, Airtel executive told me that they cannot provide connection in that area. For providing new connection they need to extend some of there lines which is not possible now. This is really a pathetic service, early information in this regard could have helped me to choose some other ISP. They simple ate up full of my vacation, i had to suffer a lot because of this. I don't understant what Airtel is doing ..when tata-indicom, reliance and Sify can provide connection to my home why not Airtel ..
