The complaint is on their billing. In Nov-09, I got this connection installed. This was a combo pack where I was told that I would have 200 free calls and 2 GB download in the Internet. They also told me that STD calls would be at Rs. 1 per pulse. However they hid the information that one pulse was 30 seconds not a minute. Where the whole world was paying Rs.1 per minute on STD calls I billed double.

When I detected the same, I complained. Nothing happened and in the process my line got disonnected on the 28th of April. In the mean time, I paid all their bills (on 27th of May) and requested for a cancellation. Now Airtel tells me the following:

One Mr. Prabhu visited us on the 11th of May (not possible as we were in Kerala then) and changed the plan to 799 plan. They say that the line was activated then. (I dont understand how this is possible with out the clearence of the outstanding). Now I get a revised charge of Rs. 490/- which has to be paid on the 16th of June. I tried complaining but no responce. They are now following the same old strategy.

Request you to intervene and clear this at the earliest.
