Well i lost my mobile, i wanted to reactivate my old number. I called the customer care to know about the procedure, i had to call many times to know about that. at first i was told that it can be done only at Kolkata office, salt lake & chowringee. For confirmaton i had to call many times because i live in Haldia, so going to Kolkata is a big matter. Then i was told that it can get the replacement at the nearest airtel distributor, paying Rs. 75. well i did that. I was told that the sim will be activated in 2 hrs. 30 hrs passed. no activation was done. I had the number of the concerned airtel office, i called them up, they told me to call up 121. i called them they asked me, they can do nathing, they asked me to call the airtel office. After calling each of them 8 times in 1 day, i was exhausted. The climax was when the airtel office senior switched off the number. there were many heated conversation. i had a very important call, when i was to talking to them, i was tol that they are not supposed to hold the line. imagine the customers have to wait but they wont!!!
