Airtel bill issue - ticket opened for 15 days - Top urgent

I had placed an early request for bill plan change in early August. They shifted my bill plan promptly from older bill account number 105-100346027 to new account number 1012450660.

My first bill that was generated after this change in bill plan, conveniently had my previous outstanding amount added to the sum total, with no break up of what is the total amount due for the current month stated.

PLS. NOTE I had already paid my previous bill. My problem and my request was “PLEASE GENERATE ME A CORRECT BILL STATING WHAT IS THE ACTUAL AMOUNT I NEED TO PAY THIS MONTH” THIS IS NOT STATED IN THE CURRENT BILL ANYWHERE. I NEED THE ONE TIME CHARGES (ALREADY PAID) STATED IN THE BILL TO BE REMOVED AND A FRESH BILL GENERATED, WITH ONLY THE BALANCE AMOUNT”

Its an absolute shame to see that Airtel has conveniently kept this ticket open for the last 15 days and today when I called them, they tell me this is not possible.

At the call centre, I have been in touch with Shalini and Pallavi. Pallavi is a floor manager who is of no use. She told me she would get back to me and after the first call, she has never come on the phone with me.

Ticket numbers logged against this request are 28606620 28710528 and these tickets have been opened for the last 15 days. I AM EXTREMELY DISSAPOINTED WITH THIS AIRTEL SERVICE AND THIS WILL BE MY LAST RESORT. If this matter does not get solved, I shall have to take this matter to the consumer forum.

It’s a shame to see that Airtel does not have a procedure to handle a customer’s request for the correct bill.
