I had a airtel no 9940081372.On may 29th I went to your Bazullah road office and requested whether they can keep the cell no in safe custody for six months since I was leaving for US for six months. I was told that they can hold the no only for 3 months and suggested that I need not give any letter to that effect and my no. will be cancelled and outstanding bill amount will be adjusted with the caution deposit. They also asked me to cofirm with your office on direct line provided. I did so and got the same information as told by the assistant. So l left for US without giving the letter.

Now I was registered as a new customer in the same Bazullah road office and the No 9500073372.

From friday 23rd oct Icould not make any outgoing call and from 26th the service is suspended. I spoke to a lady explained her the entire episode and she asked me to send this E Mail to you.

In an nutshell I need not pay any dues for the old No, and you should restore the service for the new No.

Another request is whether you can ALLOT THE SAME NO.9940081372 since I have to infom all my friends the new no which is time consuming and I may miss some of my friends.
