I am having Airtel Prepaid connection. On 01.08.2008 I have received message stating that my account was debited with Rs. 7 and Rs.7 for renewal of miscellaneous which I never used. I tried to contact to customer care. But it was continuously showing as "Number not in Use", this is the most ridiculous part as this was a situation for customer care No, then you can easily guess what will be condition of other no. At last with continuous efforts of 2 hours I managed to contact to customer care execuitive. But he refused to take complaint stating that data is not updated in the system.
I had enquired about any email address. He told me address as email@example.com which was not a valid address. Somehow I managed to send email on firstname.lastname@example.org on 01.08.2008. I got auto response about confirmation of recipt and promise of reply within 24 Hours. But till today I have not received any communication from Airtel. On 03.08.2008 I have received one more message about deduction of Rs. 7/- for the same reason.
