Poor customer service and false charges

I am Nishant Mitra from Kalkaji New Delhi. I have taken a new Airtel DTH connection on 16 October.

I was earlier promised that the connection will be activated in 2 hours but it was actually activated after 14 hours. The call centre nos. do not connect to the Customer Care Executives easily. You just hear the IVR that 'we are coonnecting you to our customer care Executive. This call may be recorded for internal training purposes' and after that there is one or two rings and even no rings and there is nothing happening though the call is still connected. One has to try for 8-10 times to gat a chance to talk to their customer care executives and even they don't have the complete product knowledge and they will give you false promises. If you choose the english IVR option most of the time there is no response and if you choose the hindi IVR option the person who picks the phone will start talking in broken English.

Now I wanted to subscribe for the Ten sports topup package for which their charge are Rs60/- taxes for six months subscription. But my account was charged with Rs 97.20/- for the same. When I spoke to their Customer Care Executive on 19 October, 09 he told me the price has been changed. I checked their website instantly and told the executive that its still showing Rs60/- Taxes (10.33%)he said that information is wrong. Then I told him that I had activated this topup by calling on your helpline no. and your executive had confirmed that the cost is Rs 60/- taxes10.33%.This person told me that the executive who activated my Ten Sports topup was unaware of the changes and gave me wrong information.

Please help me solve this issue because it is not a question of minor difference in charges but a matter of cheating the customer which may be of even bigger volumes in future. Airtel DTHs performance is good. You will find clear quality picture and voice and many features but their very poor customer service and pricing issues needs to improve.
