Who will stop costumer exploitation /Harassment by Airtel DTH SERVICES?

1. Hello,

I am an Airtel DTH Services customer. I was not informed of all the charges clearly before subscription that would be levied on me after becoming the customer of Airtel DTH Services.

I learned about the charges of 100 Rs. per visit by the technician when I called up the customer care after my TV showed a message that it is unable to receive the signal.

Technician came and he re-aligned the dish antenna after which signal was proper. But, is that my fault, how would the alignment of antenna go wrong automatically? The antenna was not aligned correctly the first time itself.

The technician unscrewed the alignment bolts, re-aligned the antenna and screwed it again. Which means that the antenna was tightly fixed earlier and that dish was not loosely fitted. Is that for what I will be paying 100 Rs. everytime. Also, I was never told at the time of subscribing that the antenna will automatically get out of alignment and your technician will come to re-align it for which I will have to pay Rs. 100 everytime.

This is clear customer exploitation. Earlier, when I contact customer care, for 3 times your representative had cut my phone. Is there no value for customer's time which is clearly a mental harassment as well.

2. Thank you for writing back. It is no more a surprising behavior from Airtel that it is now a stubborn service provider.

First, your antenna automatically stops receiving the signals, then your engineer comes to re-align and you ask me to pay Rs. 100

Next time, if it automatically stops receiving signals again, your engineer would visit again and you would ask me to pay Rs. 100. I see, this is a great business model of stealing poor consumers money.

Second, your customer care calls almost 10 times a day, forcing me to pay Rs. 100 visit charges, inspite of the fact that you have given me a waiver as per your first mail. How much metal stress does it cause me, does Airtel care about it?

But, if you think that you are the only DTH service provider in India then you can very well take back your instrument and give me privilege of not continuing as your valued customer.
