Sirs,
I received the Airtel mobile connection no 9901878704 on 27/04/08. with Inteternational roaming facility which was functional from 30 /04/08 . The deposit of 5500 was also paid.
Since this did not serve the purpose for communication while on travel on 30/04/08 I surrendered the same on 9/05/08 to the local service outlet in Vidyaranyapura in Bangalore from whom the sim was bought.. They did not give any acknowledgement for the same. Another letter was issued by me on 10 th May on same request.
The service outlat promise that the telehone has been discontinued andrefund will be returned after 45 days.
I received a bill sometime in the month of May and it was paid though thew telephone was presumed to be deactivated.
While i was awiting the depost back I received another bill on 12 th June though i do not know what for this bill is sent.
I contacted the outlet to seek clarification and response was totaly irresponsible with no tangible outcome.
I consider this as a totally callous attitude on the part of the compant.
This may please be looked into. I look forward to deactivate my SIM from 9 th of May as requested by me, withdraw the bill for June 08 which was charged to me for no fault of mine as a customer, return the depost of Rs 5500 back to me at the earliest.
I also expect a communication from the company for having registered this complaint and invastigate why such service outlets are allowed to function like this. Thanking you.
