Hi! my name is pradeep using airtel mobile connection no. 9867519218
i received and sms from airtel asking me if i would like to start the GPRS internet connection service, for which i declined, but they started this service by themselves and i found that my account is deducting some money as and when my emails are downloading, (even without making and settings).
i went to my nearest airtel customer care centre, where i was asked to call 999 to discuss about this, i was kept on hold for over 5 minutes (how irresponsible). then i went to one of the airtel staff with my complain and she told me that in my account its showing (internet connection service deactivated) but still they are deducting the money from my prepaid account. she was helpless about it and told me that it will take 48 hours to get any reply from them.
2 hours later i get a sms from airtel, saying ' thanks for contacting airtel, we would appreciate you last feedback, if you satisfied with the last feedbakc sms ' YES' else 'NO' to toll free no. 876, which i did as 'NO' and they charged Rs. 1.50/- for this sms.
is this some kind of joke they play with customers, such a big company with such a poor systems and ripping off the customers.
how disgusting. shame of airtel.
