I had bought a lifetime incoming prepaid connection from a dealer of Airtel in Girgaum, Mumbai. The sim card stoped functioning after 1 month and some days and the message of "sim is missing" displayed on mobile handset. On visiting to AirTel gallary I came to know that the numbaer I was using is assigned to someone else's name and the solution given to me was to buy a new sim card with new number.
Why shall pay again for AirTel's mistake??? What about the number which is already circulated in my business circle?
The most dangerous thing happened later... and there were several similar complaints
When I asked about what number is assigned to my name and the documents submitted by me... The answer was "We can not find number by your name"..???..
That means somebody else is using the number assigned to me by AirTel's system and if he misuses it there will be no trace of it???
