Duplicate sim activation

I lost my prepaid sim few days back. I purchased duplicate sim from Airtel Gallery by 5 Jan 08, executive there told me, sim will be activated within 24 hrs. But it is not activated. I've registered my complaint 4 times, still my sim is not activated. Every time whn I talk to customer care executive he/she tell me this time ur sim will be surely activated within 24 hrs.
