I had bought an airtel wireless router in the month of May from Airtel. I was told that its range is 100m.
When I started using it, it wasn't working properly in the next room. I contacted Airtel regarding it. I was told that its actual range is only 10m.
When I asked them to return my security, they denied. I was then informed that its non-refundable. Whereas, I was never told about this non-refundability of the deposit when I bought it.
I wrote to the airtel nodal officer also regarding it and to replace the modem if not refund the security money. The refrenece number is 22355716. I have got 2 calls after this, but they are all making lame excuses like non-availability of the modem. This complain dates to 24th July and I am not yet provided with a new modem.
Also, whenever I call them, I am shocked to learn that my comlaint has been automatically closed by the company. They make false records that so and so person visited your site, while the truth is, nobody ever visited my site.
Also, I changed my plan in the month of May. I had a top-up on my previous plan which I was told would be automatically deactivated on changing the plan. But, to my disgrace I am still being charged for that. The company is clearly resorting to unethical malpractises and fooling its customers. I am fed up of talking to the Airtel people as nobody seems to be entertaining the comlaint.
