I have received a letter from income tax department ward no 2 (2) Udaipur ITO/Wd-2 (2)/UDR-10 dated 08.10.09 that my PAN Card number ABWPP0334 is not correct.
Actually I have never received my pan card number and I was Quoting the number as asked from Income tax department Ajmer as I was posted in Ajmer previously.
When the letter came searched all my returns and found that before the year 04 I was writing my Pan number as ABWPP0834A, so it must be by mistake that my number has slipped to ABWPP0334A.
Kindly confirm my correct PAN NUMBER and send a duplicate copy of my original pan card to my new posted adress
