Times Of India
Non-delivery of News pape

Dear Sir!

This guy Pichumani, is the guy who delivers news-paper in our area in Luz-corner,

Mylapore, Chennai.

He does not put paper regularly, especially at week-ends.

he atleast skips 2-days in a week.

Suppose if the house is locked for 2-days continuously, he will take it for granted

to not put papers for the whole week.

He is very reckless.

He does not answer phone call, if we want to ask him what's the problem; why paper is not delivered.

His phone is either switched-off or somebody else answers the call &

says that he's not at home & that he left the mobile at home.

it is always the case.

Inspite of telling him several times to put the paper, even if the

house is locked, he does not do so.

Nobody takes the news-paper of others in our apartment, as everybody gets news papers daily at their door-step.

News papers of other locked houses keep lying before their doors, in the apartment until they collect it.

so there is no fear of theft of papers.

we have told him several times, shouted at him. but no use.

After paying the yearly subscription; we have no other option except, buying news paper outside. what is this???

It looks very foolish.

It seems TOI is not excercising proper control on the distributors/area-managers.

Please do the needful. we have been troubled a lot.

Your esteemed subscriber,

Padmanabhan
