I had subscribed for Time Magazine in April (subscriptions managed by the India Today Group). There was an offer of a four piece travel kit, along with the magazines. The amount was debited from the credit card soon enough, but the magazine delivery never happened. After repeated complaints, the magazine delivery started in January but the delivery of the free gifts never happened. The customer care keeps promising delivery within a few weeks every time, but it has not yet been delivered, even after 1 year of starting subscription. In terms of amount, the gifts may not be significant, but I believe Time/India Today is promising offers to obtain customers without any intention to deliver on them, which is illegal, and adequate action should be taken against them.
