Power cut for more than 24 Hrs

BESCOM (C5 SUB STATION) No prompt response to consumers

It almost took more than 24 Hrs for the power to be restored in Gandinnagar (1st to 5th Cross), Kadugoundanahalli, Bangalore – 560 45, inspite of repeated complaints to the respective sub-station (C5).

Power interruption started at around 15:00 hrs on October 31 and there was not power that night, when called up to the sub-station they said there was some issue with transformer and needs to be replaced and that would happen only in the morning. The next day November 01 (Rajyothsava day), the same story continued. Repeated complaints to BESCOM - C5 with no proper response or just some pacifying reply for the executives.

Power was restored at around 18:00 Hrs on November 01, with and again with frequent power cuts every half an Hour.

What can we term this as? An ill managed system, Ill Engineered or the Irresponsible management/staff.

Power fluctuations, low voltage or no power are the salient features of this sub station (BECCOM C-5) for years and the entire area is the victim of all this with no solution.

We request the BESCOM officials to seriously look into this and sort our issues at the earliest.
