Respected Sir,
We all call ourselves the residence of this satellite city and enjoy all the benefits of this satellite city without hue and cry. But did you ever imagine in the wildest of dreams that one of the famous villages of Panvel called the (CHICKLEY VILLAGE) is drawing step-motherly treatment.
This is a village on the outscirts of Panvel of the Khapoli / Karjat Route which is then bisected into a 1 kilometer stretch into a beautiful lush green village with all the Flora and Fiona intact. Added to all this, this village has a Harbout Line Station on the KARJAT TO CST Route already built and ready for use. But wait a bit as the authorities who are the Authorities and controller of all the development in this Chickley Village are at the moment in a deep slumber and do not realize that they are doing injustice to this beautiful village. This village has a lot of residence who travel to and fro depending on the "Autorickshaw" who swindle each and every commuter to the tune of Rs.10/- (TEN) per head only for a one kilometer ride till the Chickley Phata (Juncton). Then from there on all have to either use a NMMT Bus or a TUMTUM AUTORICKSHAW to reach the ST Depot which cost anothe Rs.10/- (TEN) and further one has to take a 10 minitues walk to reach Panvel Station..
Thats not all, all the pedestrians and commuters face a bumpy ride over this uneven road which has never been re-surfaced in ages to reach the Chickley Phata (Junction). All this is a same old story every morning while going to office, but on returning back from office and if you reach this Chickley Phata (Junction) after 7 PM then you had it, as there are no Autorickshaws or Street lights all along the way. Is runnign a "MINI BUS" NOT FEASABLE AT THIS NODE WHEN ALL THE COMMUTER ARE SO DEPENDED ON THIS AUTORICKSHAW FOR THEIR MODE OF TRAVEL.So you being living in this satelite city have to bear up all this inconvenience almost everyday. Are there not any Authorities who have ever visited this village or surveyed all this inconvenience to rectify and put an end to it all with basic onus. If not then, this is an open invitation to begin the long pending duties left un-done for this beautiful village called "CHICKLEY". The priorities being the RE-SURFACING of ROADS" which have gone even bad and you can call them worst as walking makes it difficult, then what about driving on them. Even the four wheelers have a bumpy risde and the tow wheeler have a nightmareish experience almose every day. All these driver cannot figure out where the next pot hole must be and hence can you imagine the speed of the vehicles running on this road of Chickley Village.
Please, please and please all the concerned Authorities of this node call "CHICKLEY / PANVEL" please get up and see for yourself how much is still left be done to stabalize and grant one and all a basic infrastructure. If you have not felt of doing justice for this village then stand up and be counted or step down and let someone else do the needful of getting the ROODS AND STREET LIGHTS" which are badly the need of the hour. Can you please do justice to this beautiful village called "CHICKLEY / PANVEL" to remind you its a part of this satelite city.
