This is to inform you and bring to your attention that I Samarjit G Pattnaik who is residing in 140 Uday Park is facing immense water problem for the last 5 day. Most of the houses in the locality and nearby area are not receiving water at all for the last 5 to 6 days, in the event of which it has become extremely difficult for us to lead our day to day life. I have personally been calling up the complaint section of the R.K Puram Jal Board office, and also have called up the JE (Mr. Ashok) and Executive Engineer (Mr. Anil Chaudhary) a number of times in the last 3 days since Friday, but no one is being able to give an explanation for the no water supply in the area. We have been surviving on water tankers as if we are living in some slum area, though Uday Park is one o the most posh colonies in South Delhi where eminent persons including politicians, lawyers, police personals, journalists and crickets are residing. If the fate of such a colony in the heart of south Delhi is this, we wonder what is the need for the government bodies and the administration.
Not only has your officers failed to perform their duties, but have advised me to install booster pumps to draw water from main water line to the house, which to my belief is anyways illegal.
The Delhi Jal Board has not only failed yo restore the water supply, but the officials are not even aware of the exert problem and the citizens of the country are not even getting an explanation for the reason of the problem. You are thereby called upon to look into the issue at priority and make efforts to restore the water supply to my house and the locality in general within 24 hour of receiving this notice, failing which we shall be constrained to approach appropriate authorities and if required seek legal action against the Jal Board and it's officials.
My complaint no which was registered over phone was given to me by your complaint department is 1856. I want an action taken report to be prepared on the basis of an inspection of the pipe line that provides water supply to my house and to check if at all there is any supply at all and then to try and figure out the problem.
