Election commission of India
Address Change in Voter Identity Card

To

The Election Commissioner

INDIA

Dear Sir,

Sub: Complaint

I had tried to register my name for submission of complaint through website ceowestbengal.nic.in but failed due to error in the page. Therefore I am sending it through your email address.

Sir, I had submitted an application in FORM-8 on dated 6/11 for changing of residential address in voter identity card and subsequently attended hearing on dated 19/11/10 but no change found in the voter list.

Again I had submitted another FORM-8 for the same on dated 12/1 at SDO office Serampore, Hooghly. This time I have received a receipt of my application from the office of Election Commissioner, SDO Office, Serampore. The address mention in the receipt is again wrong and it’s a combination of my OLD and NEW ADDRESS; the address mentioned in the receipt is 69/2, G.T. Road East, Rishra, Hooghly, 712248.

Sir, I had already spent five days for this process and nothing happened after that. May I know sir how many days are still required to solve my problem.

Voter List Details: Sanjay Kumar Pal, Assembly Constituency: 186, Part No: 129, Serial No: 358

My OLD Address: (mentioned in Voter Card and to be cancelled)

52, G.T. Road East

PO: Rishra

Dist: Hooghly

Pin: 712248

My NEW Address: (to be included in Voter Card)

69/2, S.C. Aon Road

PO: Rishra

Dist: Hooghly

Pin: 712248

Thanking you,

Regards,

Sanjay Kumar Pal
