CHANGE OF DISTRIBUTOR BY IOC

Dear Sirs, / Madam,

I have a gas connection, consumer no. 12564 in the name of myself (R. Prakash).at"SAKAMBARI NIWAS", H - 82, 1st floor, Ganga Street, HIG Block, TNHB, Ellis Nagar, B1 Road MADURAI - 625010., The Distributor is Vijay Gas Agencies Palanganatham, Madurai-3.. Till the connection was with this agency, i had no problem. They were customer friendly. The reason also because of my booking patterns/records speaks about my usage pattern.

When I contacted them today, they said my connection has been shifted to Pandian Gas agencies. I need to take all my records, i.e., Subscriber voucher, ration Card, id proof, etc. to the new dealer i.e. pandian and after their process only i will get further supply. (PANDIAN GAS AGENCIES is KNOWN for ITS NOTORIOUS unfriendly to consumer/customer in the past and that was the reason, at one point of time, the distributor was changed. It is a really foolish decision to change a distributor who is far away from the current distributor.

My complaint is that IOC Cannot just like that shift to a Dealier without any valid reasons. and even if they decide to do so let the consumer kept informed in prior and do all these activities.

secondly, Since I have a DBC connection, no other fuel is made available by this sweet government!!! just because the Central govt. is at the mercy of the state govt. for their support, freebies will not be questioned by anybody and i had to suffer without any fuel and had to keep hungry till my gas connection comes. Now this period is a vacation period, it is quite natural that families shift /go on tour for the vaccation and papers as required will not be available that easily because of the mobility. The original documents are kept very safely that it is not approachable / available with care takers at the home / children., & not only that, this is purely an internal affair / an administration problem of IOC, which could very easily be sorted out by way of getting all the details shifted from the existing dealer to the new dealer.

My wife and my younger son is out of station, I 'm on the job most offen on tour. only my elder son is available and his final year degree exams are going on. At this juncture, no fuel is there. This will have impact on his studies. WILL IOC COMPENSATE FOR THIS LOSS??? what is the damage because of some too smart, over intellegent officer / s, taking has to be thought off.

Please always see from the consumer point of view and IOC and other government agencies should work on service orientation and not on profit orientation. This policy of course had to come from the top ie the central govt., The central & State Govt. are only to be blamed for their such poor policies, who indirectly encourage / tax the natural system by way of forcing the common people to relay on trees, etc. which has got serious impact on the global warming.

Please make use of a subject / topic / tool called STATISTICS, which will help IOC to fix this problem. I get the reply from IOC that due to the state govt. freebies, the paid consumer is made to suffer. why is it so?

Please arrange to supply the refill immediately or make alternate arrangement to supply fuel. The IOC Had infact taken huge deposits before supplying the fuel and it is IOC's responsibility to give the best services to it GUNIEUNE customer like me.
