Unusual Delay even for reissues

I, a senior citizen have applied for a reissue of a Passport in the first week of May personally. The status board on the internet shows that "your police verification report has not been received. Application is in process". Till date no police verification has taken place as the Police Dept has not received any request from the RPO at all, as per the police dept.

I have already sent several grievance mails to the RPO, Chennai office without any result.

I wonder why RPO should take such a long time when I have no requests for any change in details from the old passport. RPO office reference no. is - C012228/10 Name: Venkatraman Sekar.

Could you kindly help me by taking it up with the appropriate authorities and expedite reissue of PP please. Thank you.
