Extremely Poor maintenance

Dear sir,

We live in 'Ratan Esquire', Chunni Ganj, Kanpur. The electric maintenance in this area is really very bad. There was no electricity from midnight of 18/19 july and it could be restored only in midnight of 19/20 July. It is not that only lower employee, who do not attend complaints, I feel that the customer complaint redressal system is not at all a culture in UP electricity dept. I visited the sub station here and could get the number of AE (SDO), Sri Ashok Kumar Yadav. When I called him, he just said that it is being worked on and switched off the phone. After this he did not pick his phone. This was, when the problem was already around 18 hours old.

When this could happen in a city like Kanpur and in a prominent locality like Chunni ganj, we may well imagine the plight of other places and it shows just how much do they care for their consumers.

This area is particularly prone to faults. Like again there is no electricity since around 19:30 and we do not know the duration for which it has left us.

During the recent storm the electricity could be restored here only after around 76 hours.

And the KESCO says that Torrent should not come. Well they can not be worse than KESCO.
