I am filing this complaint on behalf of my parents Mrs. Saroj Chopra and Mr. J N Chopra who are SENIOR CITIZENS and ofcourse not tech savvy enough to voice this in this or any such platform.
We have been residing in F- 62, Preet Vihar, Vikas Marg, Delhi – 110092 for the past 30 odd years.
WE have been leading a peaceful life till yet.
But from last few years the rainy season has become a trouble point for them. The administration has constructed/ renovated new roads alongwith the drainage in the front and back side of our house and entire block. The levels of the roads have been made higher as compared to our house levels.
We are unaware that while reconstruction of drainge lines where the water outlets have gone or where these drainage line are joined with main sewer lines. The water gets clogged in the drains and due to which it backforces either in our houses or / and overflows on the roads, which is creating havoc for the Senior Citizens like my parents as well as other residents in the block during rainy season.
We have put up complaints with the local office bearers earlier on several occasions but of no use.
We would like to know to whom the contract was awarded with all details in order we can update whether the work had been done in the rightful manner.
Simultaneously we would also request the Department to get the drains desillted / cleaned before the rains.
We would also request to connect the drains properly to main drains/ sewer pipe lines in order water doesn’t get clogged and not damage our base / roots of our houses
An urgent action in the matter will be highly solicited.
