Status PENDING FORWANT OF POLICE VERIFICATION

I have applied for renewal of passport in the name of my daughter.

At the time of renewal my daughter was minor. The police verification form was returned to us at the counter while submitting the application as the same was not applicable..

I also submitted the copy of my (Father) and applicants mothers passport CONTAINING THE SAME PERMANENT RESIDENTIAL ADDRESS.

But the status shows pending for police verification which is not required.

More then three and half month has passed but I have not received any letter so far.

I have sent number of e mails from time to time but no reply. Even there is no response to the telephone.

I request you to advise further course of action at my end.
