Delay in Issuing Passport

Dear Madam/Sir,

I wish to bring in your notice that my husband had applied for a new passport with Ranchi Passport Office on December 12 Oct with file reference no. A026311. For the last 9 months the "passport status" showing Police Report has not been received". His police inquiry and CID inquiry has been carried out but till knom no status is updated on the net and we r desperately waiting for the passport.

May I request your good offices to intervene so that passport can be issued at the earliest as he need her passport urgently.
