Dear Sir/Madam,
From 01/04 any correction in TDS return want to be done on .tds file as per notification given by NSDL.After following the process we request .tds file from NSDL for correction of 4th qtr tds return The .tds file which is sent by NSDL on request by us for correction my 4th Qtr return one of my group companies. After making correction of PAN (C5) we found my return is partially accepted on NSDL qtrly return status showing error
"Total Tax deposited provided in the statement is not matching with corresponding statement details available at TIN Central System"
After varification the error I found that my TDS data file had only 246 deductees.(Using Relyon Software for TDS Return) But the .tds file sent by NSDL having deductee no. 247 & 248. If my data file had only 246 deductees nos then how is it possible in .tds file having deductee no.247 & 248.
Unfortunately on same deductee i had made correction and my return is partially accepted.
The same mail & .tds file which is not possible to attached here I had sent to nsdl 10 times but no reply come for one of my mail.
If this type of error is possible on correction of .tds file then how can we trust on.tds file correction.
Please help me out this is big problem to deuctor who is filing the correction return.
