This is with reference to a Canon Scanner 2580 bought for our customer in December.
The said scanner started giving trouble in January & a complain was placed with the supplier namely Netspider Infotech India Ltd on 20/1. Their engineer Mr Sudhir attended the machine on 27/1 & found their was a manufacturing problem & that a complain would be launched with Canon immediately as the machine was under warranty.
The complain was launched on 1/2 by Mr Mishra of Netspider (complain no 299376), the same was forwarded to us. Our repeatative calls to your toll free number resulted in finally getting the service providers phone numbers ie 022-66997014 & 022-6559784. When they were contacted they refused saying the complain was from Thane District irrespective it being on the Western Suburban rail line & gave the service providers telephone details ie 022-65282206. When they were contacted, they also refused said people from Jogeshwari (Mumbai) should attend the problem.
After having a heated argument with the Jogeshwari service provider, they finally deployed their engineer Mr Irfan on 4/2.
After inspecting the machine, the engineer said the machine will have to be taken to their service station. Permission was given & he promised to pick up the machine in the evening. Till date the machine has not been picked up.
Our repeated calls were unattended or unanswered. When The service provider was finally contacted on 7/2 their response was that they did not have a pick up person at that moment & get it picked up in a couple of days.
When your toll free number was again called, the response was that Canon was upgrading my complain.
Sir, I would like to know when is this Scanner going to repaired or replaced? Almost three weeks have transpired without any solution.
We are sorry to tell you that we are least satisfied with your methods of providing service to your customers.
