Jacket got torn within a week of purchase

Hi,

I recently bought a Jacket from a Fila showroom in Borivali West (Mumbai) paying 1099 INR.

But it got torn within a week just like it was some cheap roadside material.

When I approached the showroom regarding this, he told me I was not using the jacket in the correct way and even tore the jacket further saying it was just the thread that was coming loose.

Is this what we are paying so much for?

If they cant give us US standard quality and service then why the US standard price?

The Item number and color he mentioned in the bill were not the ones he sold me. So I have a reason to think he sold me some cheap duplicate stuff.
