My name is Aravind Gaikwad, i am from Bangalore and a member of 70mm portal since Jan.
On June 28th I made an online purchase of a 5feet Giant Teddy Bear on 70mm portal for my sweet little daughter.
I got an update with paymnet confirmation and the delivery schedule as 7-10 business days.
On 7th of July i got an Sorry mail from 70mm team, stating that due to huge orders, delivery is delayed, and i Accepted.
On 21st of July, i received a mail stating my order has been dispatched and will be delivered in 3 days.
But this was just the begining. As per their mail, i never received the product against my order. And almost every day i was calling 70mm call center and every time i was told it will be delivered within 2days.
Over a period of time it became so horrible, that 70mm call center people started ignoring my calls/complaints. Either they transfer my call between different people or just put it on hold for long duration without any response or blindly disconnect my call.
I had lost all my patience over this period of one and half month and was forced to use high pitch to the Call center peoples.
On 11th Aug i am come across a gentleman Mr Ali in 70mm customer support team, who listened to my query assured me of support, called me back with update and also arranged for the delivery of the product by 11th AUG evening at my home. And heraing about the delivery i was very delighted and was thankful to Mr. Ali for his support.
But the bigger shock was still in store for me. Late evening after reaching home i was stunned looking at the TEDDY BEAR delivered. It was just of 3feet height which would normally cost Rs. 500/- in the market. While i had paid Rs. 1499/- towards a GIANT TEDDY BEAR of 5feet height. 70mm team never mentioned anything about this difference in the product which was delivered and kept me in the dark.
On 12th AUG morning when i spoke to Mr. Ali, he started asking for excuses and again assured would get back to me with proper update. But till this moment i have not heard anything from anyone of 70mm team.
This is really an horrible experience for me and a nightmare to continue any relation with 70mm.
I hereby request concerned to either arrange for the delivery of the GIANT TEDDY BEAR of 5feet height as per the order, or let me know the ways how i can sue 70mm in consumer court.
