I have a house in Indore which is currently leased out to a company. The Indore Electricity Board known as West Zone Electricity Board have lately out or nowhere send me a bill of Rs. 50, 000 claiming i have'nt paid the bill from January - May when the house was empty from Feb till April and there was noone residing. The connection was off and premises locked. Yet bills were coming ranging from Rs 2000 - Rs 3000.Now i have the records of all months bill that i have paid. The just barge in and disconnect the electricity without any notice. This is really sad as i've tried to talk to them but no one listens to you. I have even raised my voice but they seem to be deaf. I hope some authority can take action against them. They must know we are paying them for a service and they must provide it to us with dignity and truth.
