I had a gas connection with People Gas Service, IndiraNagar, Lucknow with consumer number 24647 in the name of P C Pant. I had booked the gas via telephone no 05222351037 on 5.11.10. While booking the gas the confirmation was not given. I immediately called again to get the same & was confirmed. I enquired on 20th Nov as I had not received the cylinder. I was told that the gas has not been booked as there was no entry in my gas book. I argued that if I have to do the entry in the book then I can do it for any date. My gas was again booked on 22nd Nov & they are not ready to supply the gas for next 10 days.
It is not possible for me to wait for another 10 days as my running cylinder would finish any day now.
It seems my booked cylinder has been given to someone else & now I am being harassed. Also this is not the first time it is happening
Daily one can see people fighting for their booking & cylinders not being received
