On 26/08 i received a call from a number 011-66034300 (IVRPLAT5 CONSUL), and they told that, Having tie up with icici bank they are giving me a free money back offer for each purchase using my credit card, for that i have to register it through mobile after generating OTP by sending sms IOTP to 5676766. And so many times I asked them for any hidden charges or processing fees will charged for this offer, each time they assured me that “ITS COMPLETELY FREE OFFER NO PROCESSING FEE OR ANY CHARGES WILL BE DEDUCTED FROM THE CREDIT CARD ACCOUNT, AND ONLY FOR REPUTED CUSTOMERS WITH GOOD HISTORY OF TRANSACTIONS WERE GIVEN THIS OFFER” I accepted their offer after their assurance and I followed their instructions. Then I received a sms from icici that A transaction of INR 4964 is made at IVRPLAT5 Consul. Immediately I called icici customer care and enquired about the transaction and about the offer, but they told there is no such tie up, So under their guidance I blocked the card.
Later on 28.08.11 I received the call from the same concern and I informed about the amount deducted, they told its processing fee and they will not refund the amount or cancel the offer.
