I had booked 6 tickets online for Rs 9000/ for the semi-final of IPL3 in Bangalore on Apr 21. The IPL organizers in their own wisdom had the match shifted from Bangalore to Mumbai, and promised refund of all tickets. I then had to wait in a long line for over an hour to get my refund slip, and I was told the amount will be refunded to my credit card in 10-15 days, since I had not taken hard tickets that day.
It has been over 30 days since then, but there has been no refund. It is impossible to reach either ticketgenie or IPL as their phones are always switched off. The level of service offered by supposedly one of India's biggest business event is utterly atrocious. I hope to form a group of other people with this complaint so we can fight this injustice.
