Complete incontinence to the customers 9741233902

Hi All,

I am sure I am not the only person who had this sort of problems with Airtel. I have been with Airtel from past 1.5 years and there was not a single month that I need not had to rach Airtel Customer Care for logging an complaint. The complaint list had pilled up so much that I had to decide to quite Airtel. I am listing some of the problems below.

1> The foremost problem was the network issue. In many occasion I had informed that I was not able to make STD calls every 15 days the problem remains for 2 or 3 days and the issue gets resolved. This did not happen for only one or two numbers. I had tried all the STD contact number in my contact book. Right from North East of India (Meghalaya, Assam) to Delhi, Mumbai including Orissa and also Chennai but unable to get though. The call gets disconnected in 0.002 seconds from the moment it was dialed with 3 beeps. When complaints were logged I was asked to change the handset with I did I changed from Sony Ericsson W550i to Nokia N76 then to Sony Ericsson Xperia X1 still no help, then I was suggested to change my SIM which I did along with that I changed the number but same issue, Getting frustrated I changed my location but still same. Technical team could never reach me but the billing department could without any issues.

2> Adding to the frustration in spite of making an advance payment of 3300 RS the complete services gets discontinued and takes 4 days to re establish the services. The comment which I get from the team is there is a technical error with the number hence it could not be activated. But no one bothered to state what sort of technical problem was that and moreover I had to pay the entire bill for the month.

3> I had notified the Nodal Officers about the same and got a reply back that the issue will be resolved within short time and someone will reach me. This communication was provided in the month of February for a complaint which was logged in the month of December. I still waited till the end of March and then stopped payment as the services were completely withdrawn without any information.

4> Billing is one of the major concerns. For 1st two months I was changed for the services which I never had. Upon letting the customer care know about the issue they gave the waiver on the bills.

5> When I found that staying with Airtel is nothing but adding worries in my life I decided to change. I called the customer services to stop the services when the billed unbilled amount was 4000 Rs. Just to quote my credit limit was 4000 Rs. But the bill was allowed to go till 20, 000 Rs.

6> Now a days I get repeated emails and calls to make the payment and when I let them know that why I have blocked the payment I get an answer that they are from the legal team and they are not aware of the issue and will inform his/her superior to call me ASAP. This has happened for the 15th time in last 25 days. Never the less I keep receiving some threatening calls from some callers to make the payment.

If the complaints were also taken so seriously than this wouldn't have occurred. I am thinking to log a harassment and a compensation claim to Aired. I still have the prove of all the communication made to the customer care and nodal officers and even to the collections team.
