Hi,

I am an airtel customer and using my current no. 9810843991 for last 9 years. I am using GPRS service on my phone and i was planning to go to US in Nov. Before leaving for USA I called the customer care on 2-3 Nov to inquire about GPRS charges while I will be on roaming in USA and I got the answer that I am using unlimited plan and there will no extra charges for using GPRS while on roaming in USA. When I came back I got the bill for Rs. 22830 including Rs 15277 for GPRS.

Since then I have given n number of calls at the customer care executive but I have not got any resolution. This is just cheating customer... I specifically asked the customer care executive three times that "R u sure" there is no extra charges for GPRS in international roaming and I got the same answer saying "no" everytime. After lot of efforts I got the nodal officer no. but of no use as it is busy all the time.

Can I get a resolution please as i have been asked to pay what I have been committed as no charges.

The height of unprofessionalism is that one customer care executive today hang up the phone as she was not able to provide resolution and she was not sure what answer she should be giving to the customer.
