Incoming calls barred

I am an user of Airtel mobile. My mobile number is 9440070431. I moved from A.P circle to Karnataka and hence I am on roaming.

But 99% of all incoming calls from Andhra Pradesh are barred. Very rarely I get any call from Andhra Pradesh. Similarly, whenever I am on roaming in other states, the same thing happened, I brought it to the notice of customer care but nothing has happened.

Similarly, my wife (998984546) is also facing the same problem from Airtel. In spite of charging Rs.1/- per minute or part thereof, it is strange that the incoming calls are not allowed. Whenever people try to contact me, they get one of the following replies:

"Verify the number you are calling"

"No mobile exists with this number"

I most cases, no contact could be made. Rarely if I get a contact, it is immediately terminated and I am charged Rs.1/-

I am planning to move to another service provider if there in no change in the attitude of Airtel.
