My landline - 040-27641195 has been dead for many weeks now. The issue started on 10/12 and despite lodging a complaint there has been no response for 3 weeks by BSNL. Finally when the BSNL Service provider mechanics arrived on 31/12, they checked for 2 minutes, said they would check something else and come back in 10 minutes but never came back. This level of service is simply unacceptable. We had a similar issue in the past and despite lodging several complaints, the phone was not fixed for a long duration. BSNL responded only when the issue was lodged in a public forum through print media. I request BSNL to leverage their customer complaint process that they have established and adhere to the minimum service level agreements to maintain acceptable, if not excellent, level of service.
