I was a Docomo suscriber. Suddenly one day I came to know that a subscription of I Player got activated in my mobile phone. Each day Rs 5 used to get deducted from my balance because of this. I called up customer care atleast 10 times to remove this service. I even tried to remove it online through my docomo account. But it did not get removed.
Frustrated by the sheer reluctance shown by Docomo I applied for MNP.
I am a student and I cannot afford such charges being deducted from my balance each day. The customer care which is apparently there to help us added to my grievances. As a customer and as a citizen what do I learn?? Each day so many people like me are troubled by such undesirable subscriptions (which we don't even suscribe to). But when we call up Customer Care they say that it is we who have suscribed to the services and we suffer because we do not have evidence. Is this how big businesses in India make money???
