I got a prepaid mobile for my mother. She just wanted a cell phone thats all. Though she sparingly used it, the balance used to disappear because of unwanted subscriptions. Then one day I am unable to recharge. The customer care suggests idiotic things. First, he asked to try recharging from 2-3 different places. When I called again as it did not work he asked me to recharge more than 100Rs, when I said I had tried 249Rs and it did not work, he says try 300 it will definitely work.
Fortunately due to number portability I can switch all my household mobiles to to another provider.
The unwanted subscriptions are a real scam in broad daylight.
